As community nurses, we look after our members assisting them to continue living independently, by supporting and empowering them with their health and wellbeing.

We assist with both personal and clinical cares, emotional support and work with the family developing tailored services dictated by each individual’s needs, including:

• Medication Promoting
• Wound Management
• Simple and Complex wound care
• Continence Assessment
• Nursing Care when you come home from hospital or need ongoing assistance with a chronic disease
• Palliative Care
• Companion Shift
• Respite Care
• Wellness Confirmation
• Personal Care – to assist you in all of your daily living needs.

We pride ourselves on our relationships with our clients’ families so that we are only a phone call away. We will always keep you well informed in the support that their family member is receiving and recommendations on extra support required.

DVA- All wound care and recommended consumables are provided by DVA. The client is not requested to supply any of these.

Upon Initial Assessment by a Registered Nurse all consumables and aides are considered and ordered through Family First Care for the client.

We have contacts with all Allied Health and are happy to recommend our clients to who we feel are the best in their field to assist our clients to live a fuller life.

AGED CARE- Government funded aged care services are available to all eligible people. Family First Care offers support with the clients own home and depending on the level that the client has been signed off on is the guide as to what we are able to claim and recommend for the client.

Our services are at no cost to the client. We bring smiles and happiness to your door free of charge!
