Care
It's first
nature
to us.

We are DVA and Aged Care partners who provide quality in-home nursing and community care services, delivered with a holistic and unique approach.

We are care providers and have an in-depth understanding of what our partners need for care and independence.

We celebrate milestones to empower our partners to live life to their fullest potential whilst following their lead to ensure a mutual understanding of their physical, psychological, emotional and spiritual needs.

We pride ourselves on emotional intelligence to listen attentively to the service that is asked for with total respect and care to ensure a positive outcome for everyone – even if it’s just an extra pair of hands.

Every one of our partners has a rich life story and want to remain independent in the sanctuary of their own home.

We all work together so that our partners are able to maintain their independence knowing that we are always there.

We are the provider that doesn’t disable but rather enable.

  • Medication Promoting

  • Continence Assessment
  • Nursing Care when you come home from hospital or need ongoing assistance with a chronic disease
  • Palliative Care

  • Personal Care – to assist you in all of your daily living needs.

Respite Care:

Family First Care is able to offer respite to the carers of our DVA clients. We know that being a carer can be an unforgiving job and sometimes ‘time-out’ is required. If you feel that you are in need of a break from your caring duties or from the person that you are caring for, we are always happy to ‘step in’ so that you are able to ‘step out’ for a short time to recuperate.

We are dedicated to establishing trusting relationships.

We believe that trust is essential to the success of our quality nursing care where families can spend time with their loved ones whilst we take care of everything else.

We constantly seek optimal outcomes when establishing trusting relationships between our partners, their families and our nurses.

Our core values that we deliver with each and every visit are altruism, autonomy, human dignity, integrity, honesty and social justice.

These core ethical values are shared within our community, and we see them as a reflection of the human and spiritual approach to our nursing profession.

Our nurses are able to assume responsibility and take a leadership role, take initiative in emergencies, have strong communication skills, can work autonomously as well as being part of a team and will unfailingly maintain discretion when providing their care.
